What Makes the REMIX Limited Edition Different?

The main difference is its limited-edition iridescent exterior rather than different internal heating hardware.

Instead of a conventional single-colour finish, REMIX uses a dynamic surface that changes visually as light and viewing angle change.

The colour treatment moves through:

• blue

• turquoise

• green

• subtle gold tones

This makes REMIX visually distinct from standard colours such as Breeze Blue, Leaf Green or Digital Violet while retaining the established ILUMA i feature set.

Is IQOS ILUMA i REMIX Really a Limited Edition?

Yes.

IQOS officially introduced REMIX as a limited-edition ILUMA i range in 2026.

The REMIX collection includes special versions of ILUMA i, ILUMA i PRIME and ILUMA i ONE, with availability intended to be temporary rather than permanent.

UAE VAPE should therefore describe it as a limited edition, but should avoid inventing production quantities or claiming a particular unit is rare unless that can be documented.

How Does the Touch Screen Work?

The Touch Screen on the REMIX Holder displays information about heating, session progress and available uses.

It can show:

• preheating status

• remaining experience time

• available Holder uses

• Pause Mode availability

• session progress

The Touch Screen is also used to control Pause Mode.

How Long Can Pause Mode Stop a Session?

Pause Mode can stop an eligible experience for up to eight minutes.

It is available in Performance Mode and must normally be activated during the first three minutes or first eight puffs.

Swipe down across the Touch Screen to pause.

Swipe up to resume.

If the Holder is not resumed within eight minutes, the experience ends automatically.

How Does FlexPuff Work?

FlexPuff may provide up to four additional puffs depending on the individual usage pattern.

A normal experience is designed around up to approximately 14 puffs or six minutes.

FlexPuff does not simply change every experience to 18 puffs.

Instead, the device analyses usage and determines whether extra puffs can be made available.

Important points:

• activation is automatic

• additional puffs are not guaranteed

• the number depends on usage

• FlexPuff does not activate when Pause Mode has been used

• the experience remains within the supported time limit

Can REMIX Deliver Three Consecutive Uses?

Up to three consecutive experiences are possible in Performance Mode when Pause Mode is not used.

When Pause functionality is used, Performance Mode supports up to two consecutive experiences instead.

So the most accurate specification is:

Up to 3 consecutive uses under eligible Performance Mode conditions.

Battery condition and operating temperature can also affect real-world performance.

What Is FlexBattery?

FlexBattery allows the Holder to operate in Performance Mode or Eco Mode.

Performance Mode

Designed for consecutive use.

It supports:

• up to 3 consecutive experiences without Pause

• up to 2 consecutive experiences when Pause is available

Eco Mode

Eco Mode prioritises different long-term battery management and limits the Holder to one immediate experience.

Mode settings can be managed through supported IQOS connectivity features.

How Many Uses Does a Full Pocket Charger Provide?

The Pocket Charger can support up to approximately 20 Holder experiences from a full charge.

The Holder itself does not deliver 20 uninterrupted sessions.

Instead, it is returned to the Pocket Charger between experiences when recharging is required.

Customers wanting a single-body design can compare the IQOS ILUMA i ONE.

How Long Does REMIX Take to Charge?

A complete Pocket Charger charge takes approximately two hours and fifteen minutes under normal supported charging conditions.

The device uses USB-C.

Actual charging time can vary according to:

• remaining battery level

• battery age

• charging adaptor

• USB-C cable

• ambient temperature

Which Sticks Work With IQOS ILUMA i REMIX?

IQOS ILUMA i REMIX is designed for compatible SMARTCORE sticks.

For UAE customers, browse the main TEREA collection, including regional editions such as TEREA Japan.

Compatible flavour choice does not depend on the REMIX colour finish.

The device can use compatible tobacco, menthol and other market-specific TEREA variants designed for the ILUMA platform.

Can HEETS Be Used With REMIX?

No.

Older HEETS sticks are designed for blade-based IQOS generations and are not intended for the SMARTCORE induction system.

Do not insert:

• HEETS

• cigarettes

• loose tobacco

• vape pods

• unsupported heated-tobacco consumables

into the REMIX Holder.

Does IQOS ILUMA i REMIX Need Cleaning?

The ILUMA i platform does not use the exposed ceramic heating blade found in older IQOS generations, so the traditional blade-cleaning routine is not required.

Basic device care is still recommended.

Keep the:

• Touch Screen

• Holder exterior

• Pocket Charger

• charging contacts

• USB-C port

clean and dry.

Avoid inserting cleaning brushes, sharp objects or liquids into the heating chamber.

REMIX vs Standard IQOS ILUMA i

The primary difference is appearance and limited-edition status rather than core functionality.

Feature	REMIX Limited Edition	Standard ILUMA i
SMARTCORE Induction	Yes	Yes
Touch Screen	Yes	Yes
Pause Mode	Yes	Yes
FlexPuff	Yes	Yes
FlexBattery	Yes	Yes
AutoStart	Yes	Yes
Up to 3 Uses*	Yes	Yes
Finish	Iridescent limited edition	Standard colours
Availability	Limited	Regular range

*Performance Mode without Pause.

REMIX Standard vs REMIX PRIME

Both belong to the REMIX family, but ILUMA i PRIME uses the more premium PRIME Pocket Charger architecture and exterior materials.

The standard REMIX keeps the conventional ILUMA i Pocket Charger format.

For customers looking for the premium version, compare the IQOS ILUMA i PRIME collection.

What Comes in the Box?

Typical IQOS ILUMA i REMIX packaging may include:

• IQOS ILUMA i REMIX Holder

• IQOS ILUMA i REMIX Pocket Charger

• USB-C charging cable

• user and safety documentation

Box contents can vary by market and retail package.

A power adaptor should therefore not be promised unless it is present in the UAE VAPE stock being supplied.

Is REMIX a Vape?

No.

IQOS ILUMA i REMIX is a heated-tobacco device, not an e-liquid vaping device.

It uses compatible SMARTCORE sticks rather than:

• e-liquid

• refillable vape juice

• disposable pods

This distinction is important for accurate product categorisation.

Independent Heated-Tobacco Information

IQOS ILUMA i is a heated-tobacco system rather than a conventional e-liquid vape. The CDC overview of heated-tobacco products explains that these products heat processed tobacco and still expose users to nicotine and other substances.

The UK Government's tobacco and heated-tobacco information also treats heated-tobacco products as tobacco products and notes that their emissions are not harmless.

IQOS ILUMA i is not risk-free. Compatible tobacco sticks contain nicotine, which is addictive. This product is intended only for legally eligible adults who already use tobacco or nicotine products and is not a smoking-cessation product.
