RELX Artisan Metal Black Wave in Dubai

RELX Artisan Metal Black Wave – Premium Metal Pod Device in UAE

The RELX Artisan Metal Black Wave combines the simplicity of the original RELX Artisan platform with a distinctive black wave-patterned metal exterior. Its textured surface gives the device a more tactile, architectural appearance while maintaining the slim shape that makes the Artisan comfortable to hold and carry.

Designed for existing adult smokers and vapers, the device uses automatic draw activation—insert a compatible pod and inhale gently to begin. The original Artisan platform features a 380mAh rechargeable battery, approximately 6.5W fixed output, USB Type-C charging, a colour-changing battery indicator and SmartPace usage alerts.

Customers in Dubai and across the UAE should note that this is the original RELX Artisan Metal Black Wave, not the newer Artisan Plus model.

RELX Artisan Metal Black Wave Specifications

Charging time can vary depending on the cable, power source, battery condition and surrounding temperature. Pod capacity and coil technology are features of the compatible pod, not the device body.

What Makes the Black Wave Finish Different?

The Metal Black Wave edition is designed for customers who want a darker, more understated RELX device without choosing a plain black finish. Its wave-patterned metal surface creates a textured appearance that catches light differently from each angle.

The metal exterior also makes the device relatively easy to wipe clean. However, dark finishes may reveal fingerprints, dust or small scratches more clearly, so storing the device away from keys and coins is recommended.

Original RELX Artisan vs RELX Artisan Plus

These two devices have similar names but different specifications.

The RELX Artisan Metal Black Wave on this page refers to the original 380mAh Artisan model unless the product listing clearly identifies it as an Artisan Plus.

Simple Draw-Activated Operation

The device does not use a conventional power button. When the user inhales through an installed pod, the airflow sensor activates the device automatically.

Its fixed-output design means there are no wattage menus or airflow controls to configure. This makes it particularly convenient for adult users who prefer a straightforward closed-pod system.

Pod Compatibility Explained

The RELX Artisan Metal Black Wave is officially designed for:

• RELX Pod

• RELX Pod Pro

Some regional RELX Pod Pro 2 variants may also list Artisan compatibility. Always check the pod packaging or product description before purchasing, as compatibility can vary by regional product range.

The heating coil and e-liquid are contained inside the compatible prefilled pod. The Artisan device itself does not contain a refillable tank or built-in ceramic coil.

Pods are normally sold separately, allowing adult users to select their preferred compatible flavour and nicotine strength where legally available.

Battery, Charging and SmartPace Indicator

The built-in 380mAh battery is rechargeable through its USB Type-C port. Battery duration depends on individual puff frequency, draw length, pod condition and operating temperature, so a fixed number of hours cannot be guaranteed.

The colour-changing LED helps communicate the remaining battery level, while SmartPace provides a vibration reminder after extended use. This reminder is designed to improve usage awareness; it does not automatically prevent continued use.

For safer charging:

1. Connect the device to a suitable low-voltage USB power source.

2. Place it on a dry, heat-resistant surface.

3. Allow the battery indicator to show charging progress.

4. Disconnect it when charging is complete.

5. Do not vape while the device is connected to a charger.

How to Use the RELX Artisan Metal Black Wave

1. Remove the compatible RELX pod from its packaging.

2. Take off any protective seals or silicone covers.

3. Insert the pod firmly into the top of the device.

4. Wait briefly after installing a new pod.

5. Inhale gently through the mouthpiece to activate the device.

6. Avoid excessively strong or repeated draws, which may cause condensation.

7. Recharge the device when the battery indicator shows a low charge.

The original Artisan has no power button and does not require manual airflow adjustment.

Adult-Use and Health Warning

This product is intended exclusively for existing adult smokers and vapers aged 18 or above, subject to applicable UAE regulations. It is not suitable for minors, non-smokers, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or people with relevant medical conditions.

RELX pods may contain nicotine. Nicotine is addictive, and vaping products are not risk-free. Keep the device and pods out of the reach of children and pets.
